This article reports the introduction of the library computer network of the Santos City Education Department (SEDUC) and the deployment of the Personal Home Library -PHL82 web application, which was specifically designedfor managing different types of collections, including libraries and information centers. The network is composed by a central library and 40 school libraries members, which includes elementary education, special education, youth and adult education (EJA)and technical vocational education.It concludes that the implementation of this network leverage the school libraries’ visibility, accrediting a bibliographical and information school network.
