Abstract

O presente artigo possui como objetivo principal compreender o processo de mobilidade da população paranaense ocorrido após a reestruturação produtiva, enfocando o período entre 1970 até 2010. A metodologia utilizada consta na análise de referência teórica sobre o tema e obtenção de dados junto ao IBGE. Os resultados indicam que o Paraná se caracterizou até a década de 1960 pela atração populacional exercida, porém de 1970 em diante se intensificou a migração intra-estadual e interestadual. A modernização da agricultura, a industrialização e a urbanização estão entre os fatores responsáveis pela reestruturação produtiva e pela intensificação na mobilidade da população.
