Cosmogeography is an approach aimed at teaching Geography. It deals with cosmogeographical phenomena, that is, geographical events produced by terrestrial and celestial relations. It aims to help in the development of geographic thinking and reasoning, adopting perception as a starting point for the description and analysis of terrestrial and celestial objects, to which students have access in their daily lives. This article addresses reflections developed within the scope of a Doctoral research, which proposes Cosmogeography as a proposal to School Geography. Thus, we present here the relationship between Cosmogeography and the concepts of place, everyday life, landscape and perception. We also highlight the proposition of new geographic skills that can be included in the scope of the BNCC, related to the studies of Physical Geography, Human Geography and School Cartography in which cosmogeographic phenomena weigh.
