A geographical perspective has been incorporated in the studies and discussions in the health field, by adopting the concept of space. This is understood, in the field of health, while a historical- built space, designed by Critical Geography that among the contributions offered the research and discussions in health, has been instrumental in the understanding of the spatial dynamics of scientific production in health. This understanding may lead to an expansion of multidirectional exchange between research, investment in ST&I and clinical applicability of the scientific findings. In this context, this paper presented a theoretical discussion about the incorporation of geographic perspective in studies and discussions in the health field.
