Abstract

This article analyzed the process of installing of a store of Viscardi supermarket chain in a valued area of Londrina called Gleba Palhano. The intention was to understand the spatial logic of a small supermarket as a commercial reference and contemporary consumption. The results indicated that Viscard Premium used strategies like differentiated products and services to compete with the large stores like hypermarkets and shopping malls.
