Classificação Geoambiental das unidades de relevo da bacia do Igarapé Belmont em Porto Velo - Rondônia

Este estudo apresenta a classificação de unidades geoambientais da bacia do Igarapé Belmont na cidade de Porto Velho - RO, em uma escala de detalhe de 1:25.000, onde os diferentes padrões de organização das unidades foram mapeados. Para este estudo, foi utilizada a metodologia de Abordagem Paramétrica do Relevo (parametric approach) de Lollo (1996), que visa à delimitação de diferentes feições do ambiente baseada na morfometria do relevo. Para isto, utilizou-se como base o mapa Geomorfológico da Bacia do Igarapé Belmont de Santos (2010), que classificou em escala de detalhe as unidades do relevo morfométricamente e morfológicamente da bacia do Belmont. Foi possível classificar todas as unidades da bacia do Igarapé Belmont, que resultou no mapeamento de 10 tipos de unidades geoambientais, com suas potencialidades e restrições ambientais.
