Abstract

In this text we propose a discussion about the realization of photographic records, in the light of ethnography, recognizing the importance and scientificity of this visual methodology for research and discovery. Emphasis was placed on everyday scenes and events, through the visual narrative presented, with focus in the (act of) dressing and the printed t-shirt – object of communication widely present in urban complexity, which provides the silent and visual expression of the individuals on the streets. Therefore, we used the assumptions of visual anthropology, with emphasis on photoethnography.
