Abstract

The author shows how capitalism is the only game in town . However, many countries, especially the countries of Latin America, is struggling to get benefit from this economic system. And this difficulty results from the absence of a well regulated legal property system , leaving most of the population outside the law , without access to private property and the added value that it can generate. In this sense, when developing countries establish property rights systems that can create capital for all the mystery of the capital will have been solved.
