Abstract

Between law and will, diversity and environment, individual freedoms and collective guarantees. Between conservatism and perspectives, between possibilities and exclusion, gender and behavior: a discussion of transsexual universe on expectations and needs, both legal as well as social. To that respect superimpose to the inconsequential traditionalism, so that the individual can be and should be, so that prejudices are stripped and transformed realities. For people to be recognized before a still shy right, old fashioned, traditional. In order to exercise citizenship, equality, social justice. But no, no segregation. From the particular issue of transsexuals, the possibility to rethink the exclusionary sexual construction, legal discourse built on heteronormativity, medical knowledge dictator normal, in short, all the mechanisms that legitimize the suppression of certain conduct. An invitation to further reflections in order to make another possible in order to make true the other.
