Este artículo presenta un análisis preliminar de las actividades de propaganda británica en Brasil durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial, a partir de un extenso conjunto de documentos primarios que aún no han sido explorados por la literatura especializada. Entre 1941 y 1945, el gobierno británico llevó a cabo sofisticadas y exhaustivas operaciones de inteligencia y propaganda en Brasil para influir en la opinión pública y socavar las actividades de los países del Eje. Este estudio analiza la participación británica en estrategias de colaboración, espionaje y competencia con las iniciativas propagandísticas de Brasil y Estados Unidos, destacando la complejidad de las dinámicas de influencia en Brasil durante la guerra. Al adoptar una perspectiva de la Historia social de la publicidad, este artículo pretende contribuir a una comprensión más profunda y matizada de los múltiples niveles de interacción entre Brasil, el Reino Unido y los Estados Unidos durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Entretejiendo fuentes primarias y literatura sobre el tema, esta investigación explora la efectividad y las consecuencias de las estrategias de propaganda británica y su impacto en las relaciones internacionales y la formación de la opinión pública en Brasil.
