Este artigo apresenta uma análise preliminar das atividades britânicas de propaganda no Brasil durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial, com base em um conjunto extenso de documentos primários ainda não explorados pela literatura especializada. Entre os anos de 1941 e 1945, o governo britânico empreendeu um sofisticado e abrangente conjunto de operações de inteligência e propaganda no Brasil, com o objetivo de influenciar a opinião pública e minar as atividades dos países do Eixo. Este artigo discute o envolvimento dos britânicos em estratégias de colaboração, espionagem e competição com as iniciativas de propaganda do Brasil e dos Estados Unidos, destacando a complexidade das dinâmicas de influência no Brasil durante a guerra. Ao adotar uma perspectiva de História Social da Propaganda, este artigo visa contribuir para uma compreensão mais profunda e nuançada das múltiplas camadas de interação entre o Brasil, o Reino Unido e os Estados Unidos durante o período da Segunda Guerra Mundial. Através do entrecruzamento entre fontes primárias e a literatura sobre o tema, esse estudo explora a eficácia e as consequências das estratégias de propaganda britânica e seu impacto nas relações internacionais e na formação da opinião pública no Brasil.
