Entre os fenômenos regionais mais significativos que ocorrem no Brasil, além daqueles comuns aos países subdesenvolvidos, podemos incluir o das regiões dotadas de recursos naturais pouco explorados, o das regiões limítrofes internacionais e o das regiões-enclave industriais.
