Assentamentos rurais e agricultura familiar: processo de territorialização e perspectivas de auto-sustentação

Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo analisar os assentamentos rurais do norte do Paraná, considerando a sua localização, as características edáficas e os diferentes tipos de organização interna (cooperativas, sistema coletivo e/ou individual). Assim, o artigo apresenta breves considerações teóricas sobre a questão da terra, da sua conquista e da territorialização, seguida dos resultados preliminares da pesquisa empírica realizada nos assentamentos rurais localizados, dos municípios de Tamarana (pelo significado em número de assentamentos rurais), de Florestópolis (pela característica edáfica e pela procedência dos assentados) e de Arapongas (pela privilegiada localização, características edáficas, bem como pela sua organização interna).
