The article raises a theoretical and empirical discussion about the contributions of the modernization process to the reorganization of the agrarian space and the political and economic strengthening of a group of social actors linked to agribusiness in the Microregion of Rondonópolis - MT, from the 1970s onwards, the introduction of technical-scientific progress in the agrarian space within the model of capitalist production. To observe and study the influence of the introduction of technical and scientific progress in the modernization of the economy and the agrarian space, as well as the role that this progress has played in the political and economic strengthening of the sector related to agribusiness. The text deals with the strategies of agribusiness agents in the production process both upstream and downstream in the agricultural sector and observe the actions and strategies of territorialization of global agribusiness companies and their influence in the reorganization and production of the regional space and the subordination of the farmers to their commercial geopolitical arena. The qualitative method was adopted, and the article was based on a bibliographical review and empirical research. After the bibliographical survey, we compiled, organized the ideas and interpreted the data and theoretical and empirical information available in the literature and the field research.Downloads
