Abstract

Sérgio Sant’Anna's The Monster, shows a fictional interview that is suffocating, dominated by seduction and sadism. Flagrant, the fictional magazine, characterizes the demands of the journalistic world, for just the news in its crude information no longer captivate readers. Therefore, this article aims to explore the theme of violence linked to the media context, where reality and fiction contribute to the understanding of human complexity in the face of numerous crimes.
