Focus and scope of the journal

The Scientific Electronic Journal BBR - Biochemistry and Biotechnology Reports is a free biannual publication promoting science and technology linked to the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology and to the Graduate Program in Biotechnology of the State University of Londrina. The BBR publishes scientific articles, review articles, original scientific communications related to the applications of biochemistry and biotechnology in health, agricultural and environmental areas. The target audience consists of students, researchers, entrepreneurs and other professionals of related fields.

Peer Review Process

Evaluation policy

The original manuscript will be submitted to the members of the Editorial Board, according to the specificity of the topic and the specialization of the board member. The manuscript will be sent for evaluation without the identification of Author. Manuscripts will be evaluated by at least two (2) reviewers. To be accepted or rejected, the manuscript should have at least two favorable or unfavorable evaluations, respectively.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that scientific knowledge freely available to the public supports a greater global knowledge.
