A Segunda Guerra Mundial e o lugar da mulher na sociedade nas páginas da imprensa brasileira

O artigo dialoga com a historiografia referente ao impacto social da Segunda Guerra Mundial e às particularidades do desenvolvimento histórico da luta pelos direitos das mulheres na América Latina. Tomando como base matérias publicadas em dois periódicos brasileiros, o jornal Correio da Lavoura e a revista Diretrizes, são examinados temas como a convocação das mulheres brasileiras à mobilização cívica à medida que o país aprofundava seu envolvimento com o conflito, o relato sobre experiências de engajamento em atividades produtivas e militares tradicionalmente masculinas em diferentes países e o debate sobre as mudanças no lugar da mulher na sociedade do pós-guerra.
